Así entonces en las obras de Adriana Lasarte, entre lo cotidiano y pleno del imaginario popular, se perciben los destellos que hacen el transcurrir más felizmente sorpresivo.

Lasarte nos enfrenta con los visos exquisitos de lo bello y profundamente concebido, donde el tiempo se ha tomado su lugar para ofrecer una imagen deslumbrante, evocadora y fuertemente atractiva.

En las obras de Adriana Lasarte se puede observar un cruce de lenguajes, estilos, citas y motivos iconográficos. Se manifiesta en una primera lectura el Pop art con la presencia de personajes de la cultura de consumo, pero en la observación detenida surge la profusión de adornos del barroco y los tratamientos clásicos intencionalmente unidos para perturbar y subvertir la separación de géneros y estilos formando un nuevo orden en una pintura ecléctica. Estos personajes ubicados sobre fondos complejos serán plasmados de forma kitsch. Además de los materiales tradicionales, se ha utilizado pintura de relieve, glitter, purpurina y se han bordado piedras, canutillos y mostacillas que revelan una nueva belleza a lo culturalmente dado.

In Adriana Lasarte works it is posible to find a cross of lenguages, stiles, references and iconographic motifs. In a first reading, Pop Art appears trhough the presence of consuming culture characters but in a deeper look a profussion of barroque ornaments arise combined with classic treatments, all united in the intention to perturbate and subvertate the separation of genders and stiles creating a new order in an eclectic painting. These characters settled en complex backgrounds will be done in a kitsch way. Besides traditional materials it has been used embossment painting, glitter technics, purpurin as well as stones, bugles and beads wich have been enbroided giving a new beauty to the culturally given subject.

PAPER DOLL

"Los modelos para armar de Adriana Lasarte están trabajados desde la gracia. Y si bien el arte no tiene sexo, elige el arte de género. Así, la estrategia de sus paper dolls es una fluyente manera de recrear el hobby de los 40 y los 50, cuando la muñeca constituía una auténtica caracterización de vida social. Con acentos pop y alguna inflexión kitsch, Lasarte corta molde y pega canutillos, precisa bordados y aplica pintura sobre papel y relieves, con una naturalidad tan clara como si las mismas correspondieran a una femme-maison. Y por ahí, su paper doll puede llevar nombre y apellido. Y está muy cierto que tanto Isabel Sarli como Eva Perón tengan entrada en su maison de entretejidos sueños, donde la realidad es una ficción posible. Porque la estética es un pronunciamiento en el cual, por sobre las semiosis, importa que el artista no deje de inventar sus propios sueños."

Sinceramente hay mucho de tu obra que me gusta... creo que te tuve como profe en la Malharro el año pasado, en profesorado, puede ser? sólo que yo no me sentía nada bien y debí dejar. Encuentro mucha originalidad en tus trabajos, sobre todo en el uso de los materiales. Fue un placer recorrer tu blog.
